ATX Lights

Pricing, published

Most companies won't tell you what this costs. Here's what it costs.

Pricing is by the foot of roofline, and it depends on when you want them up. Every price includes install, takedown in January, in-season repairs, summer storage — and a 10-year warranty on lights you own.

Install windowOwn themLease them
October (early bird) $5.20/ft $5.20/ft
November $6.50/ft $5.20/ft
Thanksgiving – Dec 11 (peak) $8.00/ft $6.40/ft
Dec 12 – 15 $6.50/ft $5.20/ft

A typical front roofline runs 150–250 feet. Minimum project $500. Second stories, steep pitches and tricky access are baked into the rate — no surcharges. Trees, archways and driveways price at the same per-foot rate, quoted personally because footage varies a lot.

Why owning wins if you stay

Year one, owning costs more. From year two your reinstall drops to 80% of what you paid, then 60%, then 40% from year four on — while a lease costs the same every season, forever. On a typical house, owning is cheaper than leasing from your third or fourth season, and in October the first year costs exactly the same either way.

The page does this math on your actual roofline: get your exact price — it takes about 30 seconds and shows the full ten-year comparison.
