Christmas Light Installation in Austin, TX
Austin is about 30 minutes from my shop in Kyle. The city runs the whole range of housing — 1950s single-story ranches, mid-century cottages, new master-planned two-story, hilly stone homes on the northwest side, and historic bungalows closer to the center. I measure your roof off public building records before I pull up, which is why you see your exact price online in about 30 seconds from your address. On install day I verify the records number against the actual roof before anything gets clipped on. Every strand is custom cut to your roofline and clipped to the gutter or drip edge — nothing stapled, nothing punched through, nothing glued. Takedown runs Jan 1-14 and in-season repairs come back within 24 hours.
Neighborhoods I install in
Tarrytown
Older stone and stucco with mature live oaks over the street. Big trees mean I plan the ladder placement so no branches are in the way. Clips go on the gutter or drip edge; nothing adheres to the limestone.
Pemberton Heights
Historic 1920s and 30s builds with wide eaves and some original cedar shake. Historic materials get clips on the drip edge only — nothing into the shake, nothing into the soffits.
Old Enfield
Early-1900s homes with slate and tile on some of the oldest. Slate and tile get the same rule as every roof: clips on the gutter or drip edge, nothing punched through, nothing glued.
Bryker Woods
Smaller mid-century cottages on tight lots. Close setbacks mean the ladder has to land clean on the lawn or driveway — I place it so nothing gets marked.
Clarksville
Narrow lots with deep porches. If you want the porch trim and the roofline done, each piece gets its own line on the quote so you see the number before you commit.
Travis Heights
South-Austin historic. Mix of older cottages and larger two-story infill. Historic materials get the same clip-to-drip-edge rule, nothing stapled into shingles, nothing punched into the fascia.
Hyde Park
Flat lots with deep front porches and lots of character homes. Porch posts, railings or window frames can be lit as separate line items on your quote.
Zilker
Mid-century ranch with low eaves. Standard roofline install, straightforward ladder work.
Bouldin Creek
Mix of 1920s bungalows and new infill. Every house is a one-off, so I confirm the exact plan on site before anything goes up.
Allandale
Classic 50s and 60s single-story ranch on bigger lots. Single-story means the ladder work is quick and repair access is simple.
Rosedale
Older ranch with mature trees. I watch branch clearance when I'm setting the ladder.
Crestview
Mix of original 50s builds and recent teardown rebuilds. If your house is brand-new, send me a photo of the current roofline so the measurement matches what's actually up there.
Mueller
Modern master-planned with flat and gable roofs mixed in. HOA approval forms — tell me when you book and I'll send the plan and photos for your submission.
Northwest Hills
Two-story limestone and stucco on hills. Two-story work on ladders means careful placement, and I take the high sections myself.
Great Hills
Mostly two-story 80s builds, some with original cedar shake. Cedar shake clips to the drip edge only — nothing goes into the shake itself.
Jester Estates
Hilly, long driveways, custom builds. Each roofline is different, so I confirm the plan on site before anything goes up.
River Place
Houses on the greenbelt side can be back-of-house reach-limited. I'll walk the plan with you so there are no surprises.
Steiner Ranch
Big master-planned with lots of two-story homes. If your HOA has an earlier takedown deadline than mine, tell me when you book and I'll land inside it.
Canyon Creek
Mix of 90s and 2000s two-story. Standard roofline install.
Four Points
Hilly, long drives, mix of custom and semi-tract. Same price as anywhere in the service area — no distance surcharge.
Balcones Woods
Established 70s ranch. Single-story means fast install and easy repair access.
Anderson Mill
Classic 80s and 90s tract. Standard two-story install.
Avery Ranch
Master-planned with lots of similar houses. Clean footprint data means the online quote lands fast.
Circle C Ranch
Big master-planned community. If your HOA requires an approval form for exterior lights, let me know when you book.
Travis Country
Established, mostly two-story. Standard ladder work from the front.
Shady Hollow
80s neighborhood with mature trees. Branch clearance matters when the ladder goes up.
Legend Oaks
Standard 90s tract. Straightforward install.
Onion Creek
Established with mature trees. Golf-course-adjacent houses can have longer rooflines because the facade turns to face the course.
Pioneer Crossing
Newer tract. Standard two-story install.
Harris Branch
80s to 2000s mix. Standard HOAs for the most part.
Wildhorse Ranch
Newer master-plan. If your HOA has a specific lights-off date, I'll land takedown inside it.
Wells Branch
Established 80s. Single-story and two-story mixed, standard install.
Milwood
Older ranch and two-story mix.
Scofield Farms
90s subdivision, standard two-story.

Austin questions
How does the online quote actually work?
You type your address. I measure your roofline off public building records and the price shows up in about 30 seconds. Before anything hits the roof, I check the measurement in person. If the records don't give a clean roofline for your house, I text you the exact price the same day.
What's included in the price?
Install, in-season repairs within 24 hours, takedown Jan 1-14, and off-season storage. One price. Projects start at $500.
My HOA requires approval for exterior lights — how do you handle it?
Tell me when you book and I'll send you the plan and photos to attach to your form. If your HOA has an earlier takedown deadline than mine, I'll land inside it.
Two-story Austin house with steep eaves — are you comfortable up there?
Yes. We work off ladders. Grady is on every install and the work carries $1M general liability.
When should I book to get the best price?
November installs cost 13% less than the peak Thanksgiving-to-Dec-11 window. Earlier books lock the earlier price.
Can you light trees or detached buildings too?
Yes. Tree and bush wraps, detached garages, casitas and pool houses each get their own line on the quote.
