Christmas Light Installation in Lockhart, TX

Lockhart is about 25 minutes from my shop in Kyle. The downtown core has gorgeous Victorian, craftsman and bungalow houses — original cedar shake and slate on some, metal and tin on others, wrap-around porches with original railings. Historic materials need careful hands. On the edges of Lockhart it's standard newer tract, two-story master-plan. The online quote reads your roofline off public building records and lands in about 30 seconds. I check the measurement on site before anything hits the roof. Clips go on the gutter or drip edge — nothing stapled into shingles, nothing punched into fascia, nothing adhered. Install, 24-hour in-season repairs, Jan 1-14 takedown and off-season storage are all included in one price. No distance surcharge anywhere in my range.

No callback. No sales visit. Minimum project $500.

Downtown Lockhart runs toward warm white only on the historic blocks, which matches the Victorian trim and the pecan canopy. If you want color, I'll do color — the default call on a historic house is warm. Pecan traces along the historic blocks can be added as a separate line item on the quote if you want warm white minis in the lower limbs. On the newer tract edges, it's standard two-story install with clean building-footprint data.

For historic houses I slow down on the roof itself. Cedar shake, slate and tin all clip to the drip edge only — nothing goes into the shake, slate or metal. Original tin roofs get the same clip-to-drip-edge rule, nothing adhered, nothing punched through. If your house is pre-1930, I walk the exterior with you before anything goes up so you know exactly where everything is going.

Lockhart questions

Historic Victorian or craftsman — are you careful with original materials?

Yes. Cedar shake, slate and tin all clip to the drip edge only. Nothing goes into the shingles, nothing is stapled, nothing is adhered to the roof field. If your house is pre-1930, I walk the plan with you before anything goes up.

Can you light a wrap-around porch?

Yes. Porch posts, railings and the roofline each get their own line on the quote so you see what each piece costs.

25 minutes from Kyle — same price?

Same price. No distance surcharge, no trip fee, 24-hour repair response.

Older house with limited exterior outlets — any issue?

No. I bring heavy outdoor-rated extensions and GFCI protection so nothing stresses old wiring. If an outlet looks original or feels loose, I'll flag it before anything plugs in.

Can you wrap the mature pecans downtown?

Yes. Tree and bush wraps are a separate line item on the quote.

When should I book?

Earlier books cheaper. November runs 13% under the Thanksgiving-to-December-11 peak rate.

HOA on a newer Lockhart-edge tract — can you help with the form?

Yes. Tell me when you book and I'll send the plan and photos for your approval submission.

What are the four pricing windows this season?

Pricing runs on four windows. October early-bird. November standard — that's 13% below the peak rate. Peak sits inside the Thanksgiving-to-December-11 stretch. The tail is December 12 through 15. Pick a date on the quote and the number shows up.

Can I lease this season and own next?

Yes. Both numbers — lease and own — show on your online quote. If you lease this season and want to own next, we set that up at next season's booking.

My downtown Lockhart block is historic — any coordination with the city?

If the historic preservation district has specific exterior-lighting rules on your block, tell me when you book and I'll follow them exactly.
