Christmas Light Installation in Taylor, TX

Taylor is about 70 minutes from my shop in Kyle. It's a mix of older downtown historic houses — Victorian, craftsman and bungalow — and newer tract on the edges. Historic rooflines need careful hands: cedar shake, slate, some tin on the oldest ones. The quote uses public building records to measure your roof and shows the exact price in about 30 seconds. On site, I verify the records measurement against the real roof before the install starts. Clips go on the gutter or drip edge only, nothing stapled into shingles, nothing punched into soffits, nothing glued. One price covers install, in-season repairs within 24 hours, takedown Jan 1-14, and off-season storage. Same price as anywhere in the service area — no trip fee, no distance surcharge.

No callback. No sales visit. Minimum project $500.

Downtown Taylor runs toward warm white only on the historic blocks, which matches the Victorian trim and the pecan canopy. If you want color, I'll do color — the default call on a historic house is warm. Mature pecans along the historic streets read well with warm white minis traced into the lower limbs; that's a separate line item on the quote if you want it. On the newer tract edges, it's standard two-story master-plan work with clean building-footprint data.

For the historic district, I spend more time per bulb clip. I don't rush historic materials. Cedar shake and slate get clips on the drip edge only — nothing goes into the shake or the slate itself. Original tin roofs get the same clip-to-drip-edge rule, nothing adhered to the metal, nothing punched through. If your house is pre-1940, I'll walk the exterior with you before anything goes up so you know exactly what's going where.

Taylor questions

Historic Victorian or bungalow — are you careful with original materials?

Yes. Cedar shake, slate and tin all clip to the drip edge only. Nothing goes into the shingles, nothing is stapled, nothing is adhered to the roof field. I walk the plan with you before anything goes up on pre-1940 houses.

How far is Taylor from Kyle?

About 70 minutes. Same price everywhere in my range. No trip fee, no distance surcharge, 24-hour repair response.

Can you light a wrap-around porch?

Yes. Porch posts, railings and the roofline each get their own line on the quote so you see what each piece costs.

Standard HOA for the newer Taylor-edge tracts — any issue?

If your HOA requires approval for exterior lights, tell me when you book and I'll send the plan and photos for the form.

Can you wrap the mature pecans along the historic blocks?

Yes. Tree and bush wraps are a separate line item on the quote.

When should I book?

The sooner you book, the lower the price. November is 13% below the peak window.

My downtown block has narrow street parking — any issue for the truck?

No. Tell me the address when you book and I'll plan around whatever parking is available. If your block is tight, I'll schedule the install for off-peak hours.

What are the four pricing windows this season?

Four pricing tiers run through the season. October (early-bird). November (standard, 13% below peak). Thanksgiving through December 11 (peak). December 12 to 15 (tail). The online quote tags your install date to the right tier automatically.

Can I lease this season and own next?

Yes — the quote carries both the lease and own prices. If you lease this season and want to buy next year, we convert at your next season's booking.
